Residential Life Boarding Program

The boarding program allows students to live in a diversified environment with individuals from other cultures, religions, countries and socio-economic backgrounds. It affords students the opportunity to develop independent living skills, social awareness and tolerance for others. The boarding community at all Meritas Schools exudes a spirit of inclusiveness, family and vitality.

Selection of Residential Students

The selection of students eligible to be residents is an essential part of achieving the goals of the Residential Program. The ideal resident is a 7th through 12th grade student who values their school, their education, and is excited by the opportunity to be a resident. He or she must be willing and interested in involving themselves extensively in the life of an LMP student. Prior to a student’s acceptance to the Residential Program, the student must be accepted to Lake Mary Preparatory School. You can learn more about the application process by reviewing the International Student tab under Admissions Application Process. The school reserves the right to terminate the residential status of any student who fails to maintain the high standards expected.

For further information regarding the admissions process, please contact Laura Lykins, Director of International Admissions at llykins@lakemaryprep.com or by calling (407) 805-0095 extension 103.
